When Suzy is woken up by strange banging, clanking noises in the middle of the night, the last thing she expects to find in her living room is a troll wielding a wand building a magical shortcut for an inter-dimensional train!

    Thanks for re-blogging this book as I had not seen your original post. I loved reading how this book developed spontaneously from a young readers request, and then how it made it to be published, too. It strikes me that the best stories are those that come out of a need and desire to entertain and challenge the young imagination. My copy of this is arriving today so shall thoroughly enjoy catching up on the adventure…
