This is a brilliantly fun lift-the-flap book to let little ones to join in with the hunt for Santa.

It’s Christmas Eve and Mouse is hunting high and low for Santa. He’s searched in the house, in the snowy garden, and behind the twinkling Christmas tree but he just can’t find him anywhere. Doesn’t Mouse realise that Santa won’t come until you’re fast asleep?

This is a fun, Christmassy read about an impatient young mouse, desperate to see Santa. I loved the contrasts of mood and colour between the different spreads as Mouse’s hunt continued and day turned into night. With over 40 flaps to explore, there’s plenty of fun to be had.
