‘Monster & Son,’ by David LaRochelle, illustrated by Joey Chou.

My next spooky choice for little ones is the delightful ‘Monster & Son’ by David LaRochelle.

This tale takes a look at the softer side of some of the world’s most feared monsters. Have you ever wondered what a daddy Frankenstein and his son get up to when they play together? Or how Yeti and son chill out?  If not, then this book could be the one for you.

Join our monsters as they romp through our cities and wreak havoc in the seas – all in the name of fun! You’ll soon discover that humans and monsters aren’t so different after all – especially when it comes to loving each other.

An unexpected and gorgeously illustrated monster story that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Library Ghoul.
