I have recently been sent an excellent series of board books from Caterpillar Books which are designed to teach babies and toddlers key vocabulary and concepts in various scientific topics. Children always love to learn a tricky scientific word – they’re never too young to start!
Babies can learn about the world’s greatest buildings, learn about habitats and animals, understand how plants grown and learn the correct names and functions of human body parts. Phew!
Written by experienced children’s author Jonathan Litton and illustrated by Thomas Elliott, these books may be packed full of information but are also lively, bunch and fun. What more could a baby ask for?!
I have been sharing these with friends and family members who happen to be the owners of very small children, and have had nothing but positive feedback. The perfect stocking filling for budding brainboxes.
