Another brilliant title in the ‘Archie’ series which tackles concepts that little children find difficult to understand (No!, Why?, Now!, and More! being previous instalments). This time, it’s Christmas, and Archie the rhinoceros can barely contain his excitement.
Archie absolutely loves Christmas and has big plans to make this one the best Christmas ever! From improving the Christmas decorations, to upgrading his Christmas jumper, unfortunately none of Archie’s plans turn out quite as he’d hoped.
This book perfectly captures the excitement of a small child in the run-up to Christmas and celebrates all the family traditions which make that time of year extra special. The ending will give you a warm glow inside, and reassure you that even when things go wrong, your family will still love you and you can still have the best Christmas ever.
If you’d like to hear Tracey chatting with me about this, and several other, of her Christmas titles, be sure to listen to the first of several Christmassy Library Girl and Book Boy podcasts, out now (available on all good podcast platforms!)

*Thank you to Little Tiger Group for sending me this title to review*
I haven’t seen the rest of the series, not in my reading range, but I love the artwork and the premise, and no doubt this will be very fun for the younger kids.
