Christmas Advent – Day 21 ‘A House for Christmas Mouse,’ by Rebecca Harry.

Today’s choice is a lovely story about a little mouse searching for a new home on Christmas Eve and all the creatures she helps along the way.

‘It’s Christmas Eve, and Mouse is trying to find the perfect place to call home. But by the time she’s helped Bunny, Fox and Bear, the sun has nearly set. Whatever will Mouse do? Luckily her new friends have a special Christmas surprise in store…’

This is a gorgeous little story about helping others and the meaning of friendship – guaranteed to to warm to cockles of your heart this Christmas. I also love the wintery illustrations with a sprinkle of twinkling silver foil across the pages. A great title for children aged 2+

Library Girl.
