I am able to offer you the very first exclusive peek at the first in a brand new series of hilarious chapter books for readers aged seven and up! Publishing 18th February 2021 – so set your alarms!

Max is a rather unusual 9-year-old; when he burps, Max turns into a rather large bin-eating monster. This is all fine until he sneezes. Then, Max finds himself stuck in the middle of nowhere dressed only in his underpants!
Max eventually decides that he should use his powers for good and sets out to capture the local vandal, but his arch-nemesis (Peregrine) is convinced that Max is the vandal and invents a cunning device to try and catch him. It’s up to Max to apprehend the real culprit before Peregrine apprehends him!
I’ve had a sneaky peek at the very first chapter and can confirm that it’s set to be full of laughs (unless you’re Frankenstein the Cat aka a tasty monster snack!) and is jam-packed with the most excellent illustrations. One to watch out for!
